The Works like Magick Employment Agency has a reputation for perfectly matching clients with magical temps. So when McKenna Greylock requests a handyman, the gorgeous Bastian Dragonelli arrives to repair her B&B- and fire up her bedroom.

Bastian finds him self on a quest to save his fellow dragon brothers and find his mate. He is once again returned to earth as a human but still retaining his dragon powers. At fist it is hard to be patient and learn the new ways of this time. But then he sees McKenna and want to jump feet first into it with out all the training needed to assimilate. He goes to McKenna to help her with some handy work and finds she need more than just a little handy work to help her. He must find a way to help her save her family’s legacy and Help her let her guard down enough to allow him to get in side her heart. With out any real proof he is willing to go into the deeps for this women believing that she is his mate with or with out the proof he needs. He is demented to help her with her house , friends and keep the nasty contractor from steeling her land . And hopefully win her heart.

McKenna has never thought her self to be beautiful , or even worthy of a males appreciation. But when she meets Bastian she wants to through caution to the wind and fall for him . But she has been hurt in the past and is not confident in her self to let her self feel anything for this beautiful man. She find he is different and his lack of knowledge of the English language is infuriating to say the least , but at the same time she is still drawn to him.

Will they save her home and turn it into the family legacy she is hoping for? Will the evil contractor win after all and take her home? Will Bastian fail in his quest and loose his brothers?

I thought this book was pretty good it was a light humorous read. I thought that Bastien was endearing , he was very cute in his lack of knowledge and his cute little sayings. I thought McKenna was a little to insecure but aren’t we all at one time or another. I thought that his little defect was a bit weird . but over all i though it was a good read and will defiantly read the squeals that follow.

  2. I’ve read this book and I also gave it a 3.5 out of 5 in my review. It’s just slightly above mediocre but I enjoyed it none the less.

  3. Bastien was definitely my favorite in this book. I thought he was so cute and when he took something too literately I thought, ‘isn’t that adorable’.

  4. I agree with you Cherry.. i will read more in the series once they are out becouse i wanna meet his brothers. It had its moments when it was funny. Bastien was cute.

  6. I havent had a chance to pick up anything else by Annette Blair but I would.

The little dragon was cute and I liked Buttercup. I thought it was so funny when she got stuck in the condom and I liked when she was calling him names. Very fiesty.
